The Great Reflection

Following The Great Resignation, organisations are facing up to longer-term systemic truths about the future of work. At the heart of this, is that more than ever people are deeply reflecting on how they spend their time and energy.

The bottom line is that we are all seeking purpose in our lives – and that includes our jobs.

For values-driven Gen Z and millennials, the ability to drive change on social issues can be a make-or-break factor in how engaged they are in their 9 to 5. These generations already make up approximately 40% of the global workforce, rising to 60% by 2030. And four in ten of them have turned down employers that do not align with their values, according to a Deloitte survey.

Businesses have high expectations to meet, but in doing so, will see benefits beyond talent attraction and retention.

We are here to help. FORE Partnership has created Urban Village Halls in workplaces across the UK, spaces where the occupiers of the building can come together with social enterprises and the local community to drive positive change. We have seen that occupiers who lend a hand are more likely to feel connected to one another, as well as to the community – and their employees.

You see, bricks and mortar make a building. But it is people that make it a place. And together with your help, we can enrich lives and create places where we all can thrive.

At TBC.London, a 3,500 sq ft Urban Village Hall will offer social and cultural space for causes ranging from education and art to mental health. Exclusively for everyone, it is a dedicated multi-purpose, flexible space. Available to the local community to use free of charge, whether charities or social enterprises, for workshops or exhibitions.

It’s also there for your business and your teams to use, whenever you need that little extra space or want to host as special event.

All you have to do is join in.
